Chief Administrative Office

The Chief Administrative Office reports directly to the Parish President and supervises the Directors of the fifteen departments of St. Tammany Parish Government. The office manages the daily operations of Parish Government, provides input for strategic planning, sets goals for departments, collaborates on policy implementation, provides advice and guidance to the Parish President, and assists with the preparation of the budget and administration submitted agenda items. The CAO Office also houses the Risk Manager and Legislative Liaison. In addition to managing the day-to-day affairs of Parish Government, the CAO Office operates as a liaison to the Parish Council as well as other local, state and federal government agencies.
