Commission on Cultural Affairs
The mission of the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs is to enrich the lives of the citizens of St. Tammany Parish by nurturing, sustaining, and enhancing the arts.
The St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs has many programs and initiatives available to assist arts organizations and non-profit agencies presenting arts programs, so as to foster development of the arts in St. Tammany Parish. We offer programs and initiatives in grants, public art, arts marketing, leadership and organization development, cultural programs, cultural planning and technical assistance.

Meet the Artist:
"I love color and am inspired to capture the light and beauty that surrounds me in our community. I have created art throughout my entire life, but since retiring 5 years ago I work daily from my home studio, I use primarily acrylics and oils to paint realistic and abstract florals and landscapes, always trying to reflect the work of the Creator."

The St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs is an agency of the St. Tammany Parish Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism and is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Art Works.
