Non-Emergency Offices of St. Tammany Parish Government Closed Due to the Threat of Tropical Storm Gordon

Pat Brister, St. Tammany Parish President, announced the closure of St. Tammany Parish Government offices on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, due to the expected impacts from Tropical Storm Gordon. In addition the Board of Adjustment and Zoning meetings scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and evening, have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date. The Tammany Trace and Kids Konnection Playground are closed as well. All branches of St. Tammany Parish Public Libraries are closed as well.

The Emergency Operations Center will be manned to carry out emergency response tasks. Residents are asked to continue to monitor the forecasts of this storm through the National Weather Service and local media outlets. In addition, residents are urged to monitor St. Tammany Parish Social Media sites as well as www.stpgov.org for continued updates.
