DOTD I-59 Update
From LA DOTD:
SUBJECT: Lane Closures on I-59, near the I-10/I-12/1-59 Interchange, St. Tammany Parish.
DETAILS: There will be alternating lane closures for replacement of overhead signs on Saturday, December 10, 2011 and Sunday, December 11, 2011, between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, as follows:
Saturday, December 10, 2011: I-59 from the I-10 exit onto northbound I-59 up to the exit ramp to I-12 westbound.
Sunday, December 11, 2011: I-59 Southbound from Milepost 1 to the I-10/I-12/I-59 Interchange.
One lane will be open at all times. In advance of the ramps, message boards will advise motorists of the closures.
LA DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
