St. Tammany Parish will take no official action to change the date for Halloween Festivities this weekend. Trick –or – Treat and other celebrations are traditionally held on October 31 st by those families who choose to participate. The parish will not seek to change the date.

The parish is, however, asking all citizens to be mindful of the safety of children and families who will be out in neighborhoods celebrating the holiday during the weekend.
