LA DOTD Update: I-12 Lane Closures
There will be closures of the inside (left) lane of Westbound and/or Eastbound I-12, between milepost 80.47 and 85.60, between the I-12/Airport Road/Northshore Boulevard interchange overpass and the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange, on Wednesday night, April 4, 2012 through Friday morning, April 6, 2012.
The contractor may work between 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. while crews relocate attenuators (weather permitting). One lane of traffic will be open at all times.
Permit/Detour Section
By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night. Emergency vehicles will have access.
During the nightly construction, to avoid the lane closure, eastbound motorists may take I-12 to LA 434 (Lacombe), South on LA 434 to US 190, East on US 190 to I-10, and westbound motorists may take I-10 to US 190 (Gause Boulevard), East on US 190 to LA 434 (Lacombe), North on LA 434 to I-12.
