Bids must be submitted on the forms provided by St. Tammany Parish Government, must be prepared in accordance with Section 08 of the General Conditions for St. Tammany Parish Government and must include all the information required by the bid form. Bid forms are available from the St. Tammany Parish Government Procurement Department.  Each bid shall include a proposal guaranty in an amount not less than specified above.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Staff Conference Room, 3rd Floor, located at St. Tammany Parish Government Administrative Complex, 21454 (Building B) Koop Drive, Mandeville, LA 70471 on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on grounds of race, color, sex or national origin.  Disadvantaged businesses will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids.

Plans and specifications may be seen at the St. Tammany Parish’s Purchasing Department office. Plans may be obtained from the Purchasing Department upon payment of $100.00. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 D, deposits on the first set of documents furnished bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents, deposits on any additional sets will be refunded less the actual costs of reproduction.  Refunds will be made upon return of the documents if within ten days after receipt of bids.

The award of a contract, if awarded, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder whose proposal complies with all requirements prescribed within 45 calendar days after opening proposals.  However, when the contract is to be financed by bonds which are required to be sold after receipts of bids, or when the contract is to be financed in whole or part by federal or other funds not available at the time bids are received, the time will not start until receipt of federal and/or state concurrence or concurrence of the other funding source.  Award will be within 30 calendar days after the sale of bonds or receipt of concurrence in award from federal and/or state agency or other funding source.  The successful bidder will be notified by letter mailed to the address shown in the proposal that the bidder is awarded the contract.

This project involves state funds; therefore, the award of contract will also be contingent upon concurrence by the appropriate state agency.

The right is reserved to reject bids in accordance with Louisiana law.

PROJECT H.004987- 190/COLLINS BLVD. BRIDGE CLOSURE - NEW DATES

There will be a closure of both lanes on the entire bridge over the Bogue Falaya River on US 190/Collins Blvd. in Covington as follows: Wednesday, January 24, Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26, between the hours of 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM. This is to allow survey/inspection work on the bridge under this Project, weather permitting.

Detour
Motorists are advised to use US 190 to LA 1077, then use LA 1077 South to access I-12, or North to LA 1078 then East on LA 1078 to LA 25 then South or North on LA 25 to reach their destination.

There will be NO emergency vehicle access, as the entire bridge will be closed.

The Covington Police Department will be on-site each night.
