The Procurement Department provides centralized procurement services for the Parish government departments, offices and agencies to procure equipment, supplies, and services for the Parish.

The department’s responsibility is to ensure public funds are expended on quality goods and services through a transparent and competitive manner, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.  The Procurement department is committed to making cost effective purchases with every tax dollar and make a positive impact on the Parish through the services it provides.

The primary procurement methods used by St. Tammany Parish Government Procurement Department are:

  • Request for Proposals (RFP’s)
  • Request for Qualifications (RFQ’s)
  • Request for Bids (RFB’s)
  • Direct Solicitations (Quotes)


Effective April 1, 2022, St. Tammany Parish Procurement will no longer post projects on our website and all future projects will be posted to LaPAC. Please visit the link below to be directed to LaPAC.

 

If you are a consultant, service provider, contractor, vendor, or supplier, the following information is a convenient place for you to find out about current bidding and contract opportunities.  It will provide current listings of Bids, RFPs, RFQs, and Quotes issued by the Procurement Department.

Registering Your Business with the Parish

If a Contractor/Vendor/Supplier is interested in registering your business with the Parish, it is necessary that the registration information form and a W-9 form is filled out and provided to Procurement office.  Registering provides the ability to:

  1. Place your business information on file with the Parish
  2. Select commodities and services related to your business
  3. Receive automatic e-mail notifications of RFBs, RFPs, RFQs, and Quotes.

Once the Vendor Information Packet and W-9 form are completed, these documents should be submitted to the Procurement Department.  Documents can be submitted via email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
