The St. Tammany Parish Council is the legislative arm of St. Tammany Parish Government. The fourteen members of the Council, as a branch of Parish Government, have the right, power and authority to pass ordinances covering several areas including preserving the general welfare, safety, health, peace and good order of the parish and the management of Parish affairs. The Parish Council is bound by the constitution and laws applicable to Parish government.
St. Tammany residents can vote at Parish Council Chambers on Koop Drive in Mandeville, St. Tammany Parish Justice Center Parking Garage in Covington or at the Towers Building on Old Spanish Trail in Slidell.
