The Department of Finance consists of the following offices which are supervised by Finance Department Director:

• Accounting
• Purchasing

The responsibilities of the department include: 

• Preparation of the annual operating budget
• Management of all parish funds including revenues from grants, sales and property taxes, fees and licenses
• Purchases of materials and services for the parish
• Administration of all bid procedures
