I do not have an Alert! St. Tammany Account, but receive notifications:
During the transition from an older alert system to the Smart 911 system, managed contacts and traditional landlines were imported manually. These imported contacts can be deleted by our team. Please fill out this form so our technicians can review and delete your contact information from our system. We do not have the ability to edit, delete or view Alert! St. Tammany accounts that were created through the Smart 911 system.
I signed up for Local Alert but I'm not receiving texts or phone calls.
Local Alert is separate from Alert! St. Tammany. Alert! St. Tammany uses your address and phone number to notify you based on your location through an emergency Smart 911 system. Local Alert is an email newsletter that is sent to your inbox to notify you about severe weather updates and emergency parish updates. We do encourage all citizens to sign up for both to help them stay informed as well as receive emergency notifications in a timely manner.
How can I sign up for Alert! St. Tammany if someone else has signed up with my phone number?
All phone numbers need to be confirmed. If you do not have an account, sign up for one here. When you submit your phone number, the system will recognize that your number is already associated with an account. In this case, you should choose the option to “Create New Account” with this number. Your phone number will be removed from the previous account and added to your new account once confirmed.

I have an elderly family member/friend/neighbor, how can they sign up if they have no access to the internet or smartphone?
Most original landlines (through Bellsouth/ATT) have been grandfathered into the system already. However, if they are still not receiving these notifications, you can assist in signing them up for an account. In the signup process, check the option “Someone is assisting me in setting up my account.” You will need access to their current phone line to confirm voice notifications or let them know a call will come through and they will need to confirm their phone number for the Smart911 system.
